For the specialists from Abt Sportsline perfect is simply not enough. Members of the family firm, founded over a century ago, follow this motto. Hence, the specialists from the world´s leading tuner of Audi and VW vehicles added their touch to the new Audi A4 and gave the best-seller from Ingolstadt an extra portion of sportiness. The result could be seen for the first time at the Automobil International in Leipzig: The Abt AS4 with comprehensive optics kit and power enhancement.
With a wide range of body components the Abt AS4 boasts even more sportiness and dynamic qualities than its standard cousin from Ingolstadt. An Abt front grill and front spoiler lip lend the AS4 that extra sporty touch. Abt running boards make the AS4 a real eye-catcher on the streets. Most drivers only get to see this super sporty car from the rear. For this reason the team from Abt Sportsline paid extra attention to the back end, developing a rear apron as well as an Abt rear wing.
There is more to the AS4 than just its looks: For optimal road handling the Abt AS4 receives a sports suspension that lowers the body by around 35 to 40 millimetres. In Leipzig the two different sports wheels for the A4 demonstrated the diverse possibilities that Abt offer. The Abt AS4 on display is fitted with A25 (8.5 x 18 inch) rims on the driver´s side, with A27 (9 x 19 inch) rims mounted on the co-driver´s side. The two variations are just a sample from Abt´s comprehensive range. A total of 14 head-turning wheels are available in the dimensions 15 to 19 inches. Complete tyre sets are also available.
An extensive range of power enhancement solutions are also offered by Abt. The most powerful offers 250 hp. Either way, the Abt AS4 is a top sprinter.
